Summer Celebration 2023

It was a great evening of joy experienced by the participants of the Diplomatic Council Summer Celebration 2023.

Wind of internationality

After the Corona-related travel break, the wind of internationality blew stronger through the ranks again this year. Dr. Hungarian Ambassador H.E. Dr. Péter Györkös received much approval for his clear statements on European policy. The Head of the Diplomatic Council Mission France, Maxime Boyer, who came especially from Paris, was welcomed with much empathy into the international DC family. He received his certificates of appointment beaming with joy from the hands of DC Secretary General Hang Nguyen, who led the program with charm and skill.

Award for authors

The authors, who were honored with the "DC Quality Writer Award", could see their joy just as clearly. During the Corona sabbatical, the Diplomatic Council had launched its own publishing house, DC Publishing, which has since published more than 40 books in German, English and French. Dr. Harald Schönfeld, publisher of no less than two DC book series - "Learning from Interim Managers" (together with United Interim) and "Practical Knowledge for Supervisory Boards and Advisory Boards" (together with Steinbeis Augsburg Business School) - was beaming throughout the evening as he chatted with numerous of "his" authors after presenting them with the honors.

Good conversations, new projects

The stylish ambience of the villa, the delicious buffet and the refreshing drinks provided a relaxed atmosphere as a good basis for stimulating conversations. Indeed, as every year, the DC summer celebration turned out to be a hub for new initiatives, projects and cooperations; business talk was not neglected. New mandates, joint ventures, author teams... many of the things that started that evening will take flight in the coming months.

A very special experience

A popular meeting place later in the evening was the Quarantini Gin Bar. As one of the attendees said as he headed home, "This is my tenth time attending and it's always a very special experience!"
