The Shanghai Mission is run by Helmut von Siedmogrodzki and his team including the Chinese entrepreneur Xiaoyun Lue. He has 25 years of experience in international industry. Following a successful career as an officer of the German Federal Army, Helmut von Siedmogrodzki changed his professional activity and took over a function in the industry in 1987. In the following 23 years he was employed with market-leading, German industrial groups assuming responsibility for the areas energy, electronics and building technologies. From 1997 until 2008 he headed and managed various companies in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan as the Managing Director, CFO and Board Director and successfully set up and expanded numerous business segments in this region which has become the second world economy in the meantime. Helmut von Siedmogrodzki has a wealth of experience in leading manufacturing and sales organization, international project management and creating lean organization and efficient business processes. Today he splits his time between China, the United Arab Emirates and Germany and offers his expertise to the members of the Diplomatic Council.
