We link diplomacy, business leaders, science’s leading minds and society’s front-runners on resolving mankind’s biggest challenges. All Diplomatic Council memberships are global. Dato Elaine Teh, Group Executive Chair Lady & Founder of Octopus Global Holdings. President of IWFCI Malaysia Chapter, has been appointed Head of Diplomatic Council Mission Malaysia.
Elaine, a self-start and inspiring entrepreneur in the F&B Industry is a loving mother to two teenage daughters. She and her husband founded the Octopus Group which owned more than 80 F&B outlets in Singapore. Now Octopus Global Hldgs became one of the largest alcohol distribution company in Singapore and Malaysia.
She was conferred Dato for her contribution to the society. In 2012, she won the IWFCIS-SIMPLYHER BEST WORKING MOTHER AWARD, a prestigious award recognizing her achievements, for being a self-start business women, balances her family life and contributes to the community. She set up a Sewing School in the rural area of Sarawak East Malaysia which benefited 42 needy single mothers, lower income earners and low education villagers. In 2018, she was crowned as Asia Pacific Queen of Substance to lead the Mrs Asia Pacific on the social responsibility work.
Elaine is a success story of hardwork, passion and commitment – while still managing to enjoy life as she devotes time for family and leisure. She is definitely an Extraordinary Woman living life to the fullest.
