Cooperation with Steinbeis Augsburg Business School

The Diplomatic Council (DC) and Steinbeis Augsburg Business School (SABS) have agreed on a comprehensive strategic cooperation. The beneficiaries are both the members of the Diplomatic Council and the graduates and lecturers of the Augsburg Management School. "This is an important building block in our master plan for economic diplomacy," emphasises Hang Nguyen, Secretary General of the Diplomatic Council.

Andreas Renner. Managing Director and Academic Director of Steinbeis Augsburg Business School, explains: "The DC stands for the global connection of diplomacy and business at the United Nations level. We stand for a high-calibre and at the same time practice-oriented education and training for business leaders. This qualification enables SABS graduates to apply to join the DC as members and thus become UN advisors. After all, with UN Consultative Status, the Diplomatic Council is part of the United Nations' closest circle of advisors."

SABS CEO Andreas Renner has joined the Diplomatic Council as a new member. Andreas Dripke, Executive Chairman of the Diplomatic Council, is taking up a position as a lecturer at Steinbeis Augsburg Business School, starting with the course "Certified Supervisory and Advisory Board" this spring.
