At the commencement of the year, we are delighted to unveil a new publication that addresses two critical subjects set to dominate not only the Diplomatic Council’s agenda in 2026 but also for decades to come: Europe's security and developments in space. The volume, which features contributions from esteemed figures including the EU Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, the Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), Dr Josef Aschbacher, and the German Minister of State at the Foreign Office, Florian Hahn, is entitled "Space Security". Accordingly, the 2026 New Year’s Reception is called "Space Night".

Another highlight is the presentation of the Top Interim Manager 2026 award by the Diplomatic Council Future Academy and the DC member organization United Interim.
