Diplomatic Council launches new „Super Mission“

After months of preparation, the Diplomatic Council for the first time has launched a new Diplomatic Council Mission which encompasses a total of five countries. The new “Super Mission” includes the states Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam to which the Diplomatic Council has good and long-standing relations with. The ambassadors of Laos, Thailand and Vietnam regularly attended Diplomatic Council galas and events and were welcome guests, also in Germany. The ambassadors of Thailand and Vietnam are members of the Diplomatic Council Board of Presidents.

As its Head of the new DC CLMTV Super Mission, the Diplomatic Council has appointed Dato Steve Cheah, a native Malaysian social entrepreneur with residence in Thailand. As the founder of the not-for-profit Global Entrepreneur Network (GEN), Dato Steve Cheah’s objective is to help and promote tomorrow’s entrepreneurs around the world. He brings in his global GEN network, an association that operates in around 170 counties, to the Diplomatic Council for the benefit of all Diplomatic Council members and vice versa. This extensive business network also emphasizes the importance of the new DC CLMTV Super Mission.

For the establishment of DC CLMTV, Dato Steve Cheah received advice and support from former Ambassador Nongnuth Phetcharatana (Thailand) and former Ambassador Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan (Malaysia), both members of the Diplomatic Council Board of Presidents as well as Irene Ho, DC Head of Asia.

Dato’ Jojie Samuel, currently Malaysian Ambassador to Thailand, is appointed a member of the Diplomatic Council Board of Presidents. Ambassador Dato’ Jojie Samuel is in close exchange with all other ambassadors residing in Thailand to invite them to join the Diplomatic Council.
