Diplomatic Council delivers humanitarian and donation to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Syria with the help of Quirón Salud

As a result of the Diplomatic Humanitarian Hub program, and in fulfillment of its primary function of humanitarian action, the Diplomatic Council made a delivery of basic necessities, in response to the catastrophic earthquake, to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Syria, by the hand of the Quiron Salud Foundation.

The official ceremony of delivery of the merchandise, was attended by Mrs. Souheila Abbas, Minister counselor, and was made official in the warehouses of Redur Logistics , in the presence of its President Mr. Angel Lozano, as well as its Vice President Mrs. Ángela Vazquez,  which under its Corporate Social responsibility processes, have provided the services to store and coordinate the delivery of the 320 pallets collected in 13 Humanitarian Aid containers, which included powdered milk, hygiene products, in particular feminine, diapers, blankets, clothes, a few medicines.

The synergy with entities of the highest international relevance in the third sector, such as NGO Rescate, whose president, Mr. Carlos Echanove, attended the event, Diplomatic Council with its vice president, Ms. Rokia Lazergui, as well as the head of institutional relations, Ms. Adela Larraz Ramirez, and the director of the Diplomatic Council for the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Juan Ignacio Lorente González, has been the beginning of a fruitful collaboration to favor the most disadvantaged population in emergency situations.

„We are deeply thankful to have been able to make this donation, and of course to work with people so committed to trying to alleviate the consequences that the earthquake has caused for the Syrian and Turkish population“, said Mr. Juan Ignacio Lorente González: „Together with all the parties involved, we hope that it will be the first of many donations that we can make for populations that need our help.“
