Peace starts within families and individuals
For peace to be achieved among societies, it needs to start within families and individuals.
This talk of Albert Frantz at the Diplomatic Council session on the Geneva Peace Week is a personal story of international adoption, reproductive technology, and how a family torn apart by domestic violence intensified the search for identity. Albert Frantz argues that identity is a fundamental human right protected by the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child and that laws need to fully honor both nature and nurture.
