On February 1, international dignitaries from diplomacy, business and society will get together in the time-honoured halls of the prestigious Frankfurt Grandhotel Hessischer Hof for the glamorous Diplomatic Council Gala.

On arrival, our professional photographers from Picture Partners will take photos of the elegant gowns of the ladies and the festive suits of the gentlemen both dressed up for the occasion. All pictures taken are a gift to our guests and can be taken home free of charge at the end of the event.
An aperitif is served right after the photo shooting giving guests the opportunity to mix and mingle before Secretary General Hang Nguyen starts the official program at 7pm.
An evening full of highlights
The first highlight of the evening will be the musical performance of coloratura soprano Karine Minasyan and pianist Albert Frantz who both will shake the halls of the Grand Hotel with their talents. And then there is one highlight after the other:

For the first time, Diplomatic Council and Diplomat Magazine will present the Global Public Diplomacy Award. This will be given to Heads of Diplomatic Missions who have contributed to strengthening the diplomatic relations with civil societies.
The charitable Don Bosco gastronomy school in Vietnam will be introduced and supported as part of the Diplomatic Council Educational Sponsorship Program
Diplomatic Council Students and Diplomatic Council Ambassador join forces: our students have decided to raise money to buy a water well for the Neven Subotic Foundation. Our member Neven is a well-known Serbian football player whose foundation builds wells in the poorest communities in Ethiopia helping in particular to safe children’s lives. Business Ambassador Dr. Thomas Durchlaub has graciously agreed to donate half of the “Diplomatic Council Water Well”
Following the official program, all guests are invited to help themselves to food and drink at the feastful buffet and mix and mingle with other guests. Both seats and standing places are available so guests can get to know each other or deepen existing relationships while enjoying their delicious dinner and fine drinks.
In addition to the exciting program, the gala is characterized by an atmosphere of well-being which leads to inspiring and trusting conversations and serves to create relationships and friendships.
Whoever wishes to stay after the official end at 11pm, is invited to prolong their stay at Jimmy’s bar of the Grand Hotel. Numerous guests from abroad also meet for breakfast the next morning.
