The World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) has invited Diplomatic Council Executive Chairman Andreas Dripke as a keynote speaker for the opening ceremony of its convention in Beijing, China. WIOTC is one of the largest organisations for the Internet of Things. At the 2019 WIOTC, which will take place on November 8 and 9, over 3,000 participants and more than 1,000 journalists from all over the word are expected to attend. This year, the Diplomatic Council is co-hosting the World Internet of Things Convention for the first time.

The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the vision of a future, where all the things that we use in our daily lives, communicate with each other. Coffee machine, refrigerator, electric toothbrush, car, apparel…..already in 2020 approximately 25 billion devices are anticipated to be connected to the Internet of Things.
