Diplomatic Council and Diplomat Magazine based in The Hague have entered into a far-reaching cooperation with the objective to create more value for Diplomatic Council members while at the same time granting to the readers and partners of the Diplomat Magazine access to the Diplomatic Council`s global network. For this purpose, Dr. Mayelinne De Lara has been appointed Diplomatic Council Head of Mission Benelux based in The Hague.

Press conference with the Lawyer of Asia Bibi

The Diplomatic Council together with the Christian misio organized the very first press conference ever with the lawyer of Mrs Asia Bibi, Mr. Saif-ul-Malook, in Europe. The first public appearance was initiated by Diplomatic Council Business Ambassador Jamal Qaiser, who was born in Pakistan and lives in Germany for decades.

UN Commission for Social Development in New York

The fifty-seventh session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD57) will take place from 11 to 21 February 2019, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development. The Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) monitors national and global socio-economic trends, identifies emerging issues, and assesses their implications for social policy at the national and international levels.
