German Ambassador Dr. Heinrich Kreft designated Diplomatic Council President

The German Ambassador Dr. Heinrich Kreft has been nominated to become the Diplomatic Council`s next President. His festive Inauguration will take place at the Diplomatic Council Gala on February 2, in Frankfurt (Germany). He will be the first Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to join the Diplomatic Council´s Board of Presidents.

 

Dr. Heinrich Kreft joined the Diplomatic Council as a member already in autumn 2017 before he was promoted now to become the next Diplomatic Council President.

The Founding President of the Diplomatic Council, Ambassador Buddhi Athauda, has presented his credentials to Emmanuel Macron, President of France. The festive ceremony took place at the Élysée Palast.

Following his official accreditation Ambassador Buddhi Athauda invited a selected group of dignitaries to a festive reception in a very select circle in his residence.

Diplomatic Council Founding President Ambassador Buddhi Athauda now resides in Paris

The founding president of the Diplomatic Council, H.E. Ambassador Buddhi Athauda, has moved into his official residence in Paris. Sri Lanka has assigned him as the Ambassador and the permanent representative to UNESCO. In Paris, he already presented his credentials to UNESCO.

North Korea, an East Asian state emerging on the globe after Japan relinquished its 35 years occupation of the Korean Peninsula at the end of Second World War and establishing its independence in1948 after splitting away South Korea possesses active nuclear weapons program and has tested nuclear explosive devices in 2006, 2009, 2013 and 2016.
