DC New Year Reception 2027 on 5 February in Frankfurt

Let us bid farewell to the old year and look ahead to 2027. We will raise a glass to it at the Diplomatic Council New Year Reception in Frankfurt on 5 February.

To kick off the year, we will present a new book on a subject that could hardly be more topical or more pressing: artificial intelligence. In the new work “The AI Society”, leading AI pioneers from almost every part of the world have their say. The 2027 New Year Reception is therefore held under the motto “The AI Society – Artificial Intelligence and Human Values”.

The evening will also include the presentation of the DC book “Der Wert von Werten” (The Value of Values).

Top Interim Manager 2027 award

Another highlight is the Top Interim Manager 2027 award, presented by the Diplomatic Council Future Academy and the DC member organisation United Interim. As executives on temporary assignments, interim managers take over the helm at short notice in companies that want to get fit for the future. Their work saves firms, safeguards jobs and strengthens Germany as a business location. We are therefore delighted to honour the very best in this profession.

As is tradition, representatives of many DC topic groups will also be on hand: supervisory and advisory boards, interim management, quantum technology, artificial intelligence, smart cities, real-world AI, book projects and more.

Villa Bonn in Frankfurt’s Westend

Our New Year gathering takes place at Villa Bonn in the heart of Frankfurt, which is already well known to many of our members. This grand Gründerzeit mansion, built in 1897 in Frankfurt’s Westend, stands in its own park-like grounds at Siesmayerstraße 12 (60323 Frankfurt am Main). Despite its city-centre location, Villa Bonn has ample free parking. For latecomers who cannot find a space there, the Palmengarten car park is close by.

Over an exquisite dinner – with paired wines, beer, water and coffee included in the participation fee – we will no doubt talk not only about Europe’s role in a dramatically changing world order, but also about our personal hopes and plans for the New Year. As one guest said last year: “An evening in a special atmosphere with outstanding cuisine. The surroundings were so beautiful that everything else is quickly forgotten – it is a small, perfect world.”
