Dr. Thomas Durchlaub

Business Ambassador Dr. Thomas Durchlaub is characterized by courage, decisiveness, competency, entrepreneurship and a unique way of conceptual thinking taking into consideration the large-scale connections combined with a strong humanity. He is present on the international stage as well as in Bochum, his home town in Germany. While he has a global foresight and extraordinary analytical skills, he has maintained a strong local attachment to Germany which is a great enrichment for a global think tank.

Georg M. Diehl (R.I.P.)

Business Ambassador Georg M. Diehl is a social entrepreneur. He is the president of the Frankfurt Polo Club and a successful business person, but also likes to help people with less fortune in their life.

He organized the world's first bicycling race for handicapped as part of the famous "Around the Henninger tower" race. His polo club is opened once per week fo handicapped horse riding, just to name a few of his social engagements.

Sarojini Seeneevassen-Frers

H.E. Sarojini Seeneevassen-Frers is the Ambassador of Mauritia and become a member of the Diplomatic Council Presidents board in 2013.

She is a marine biologist, has studied in Europe und worked for research department of the fishery ministry of her country, before she was promoted Ambassador of Mauritia. 

Her roots in marine biology have resulted in deep respect for nature. In all her activities within the Diplomatic Council mankind and nature are are the foreground.

Toyeoi Shigeeda

H.E. Toyeoi Shigeeda joined the Diplomatic Council at a very early stage in 2012, when Diplomatic Council was founded. At that time he was Consul General of Japan, before he was promoted Ambassador in 2015.

Since those early days he guided the Diplomatic Council growing into the diplomatic world globally. He was instrumental in laying the ground for the Diplomatic Council's development from the very beginning til its global reach.

Nongnuth Phetcharatana

H.E. Ambassador Nongnuth Phetcharatana has been accredited as the Ambassador of Thailand in Germany since 2012. She was voted “Ambassador of the Year” in 2014.

Shi Mingde

The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Shi Mingde, is a proud member of the Diplomatic Council's Board of Presidents. He was named Ambassador of the Year 2015 by the Diplomatic Magazine.

Dato Zulkifli Adnan

H.E. Ambassador Zulkifli Adnan is active on the Diplomatic Council Board of Presidents in Europa as well as in Asia. His diplomatic career has spanned 34 years and includes being Malaysia's ambassador to Germany, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was also director general of the Maritime Affairs Department in the Malaysian foreign affairs ministry. 

In 2018 he was appointed Malaysia's High Commissioner to Singapore. The Diplomatic Council launch in Singapore was hosted in his residence with 150 selected members and guests.

Dr Heinrich Kreft is a career diplomat and since July 22nd 2016 Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Luxembourg.

Otto Schell

Otto Schell Is the CEO of the Diplomatic Council Otto Schell Institute for Digital Transformation and Chairman International Relations at the Diplomatic Council. He is a visionary for digitalization considered one of the most independent pioneers and innovators for digitalization. Otto Schell made a major contribution to the groundbreaking studies for „Industrie Plattform 4.0“ which later became known worldwide under the term Industrie 4.0. Based on this creation, further megatrend innovations such as the Internet of Things (IoT) have evolved.

Thi Thai Hang Nguyen

Thi Thai Hang Nguyen is the heart and the soul of the Diplomatic Council. She was born in Vietnam and spent her early childhood there. At the tender age of five she was forced to escape her country due to the severe consequences of the war. She and her family were rescued by the German aid organisation Cap Anamur and were given a new home in Germany where she lives since 1980.
