The Gala Dinner and Dance „Colors of Asia Pacific“. takes place at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. DC Gold Members are invited to take a seat at Ms. Irene Ho´s VIP table reserved for The Diplomatic Council and The Luxury Network. The Head of DC Mission is the CEO of The Luxury Network Singapore.

Stop the Proliferation of Atom Bombs

INTRODUCTION: During the past decades life expectancy doubled as enormous life threatening diseases got uprooted and eradicated. This paved way to an era of new horizon. But we should not become an “owl in the day” and only praise scientific and technological discoveries. Considering the darker aspect of the sight, we have devalued the life quality improving measures by advancing in nuclear technology and building nuclear bombs, a human invention possessing the tendency of destroying life on earth in an instant. Just with a trigger or button-press life can transform to death.

Side Event at Geneva Peace Week

A delegation of six Diplomatic Council members attended the Geneva Peace Week on the occasion of a Diplomatic Council side event at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva. This year, Geneva Peace Week focused on the theme “prevention of violent conflicts” and pursues the guideline of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres who prefers „Diplomacy for Peace“ over the military efforts of the blue helmets.

The Shanghai Mission is run by Helmut von Siedmogrodzki and his team including the Chinese entrepreneur Xiaoyun Lue. He has 25 years of experience in international industry. Following a successful career as an officer of the German Federal Army, Helmut von Siedmogrodzki changed his professional activity and took over a function in the industry in 1987. In the following 23 years he was employed with market-leading, German industrial groups assuming responsibility for the areas energy, electronics and building technologies.
